Our Story
Conservation is something we choose to take part in.
It starts by showing up.
KDT Conservation grew from a simple conviction: caring about wildlife should lead to something useful for the people and places that need support.
Our founder, Kerry du Toit, brings a background in wildlife guiding and storytelling to this work. Time in the field changes how you see conservation. You notice the people who keep showing up, the small interventions that matter and how much remains unseen by those outside it.
We are building KDT Conservation to connect that field reality with people who want to make a practical difference. We are still establishing our first field partnerships. We will be clear about what is planned, what has been funded and what has happened.
People on the ground
We listen to capable teams and local knowledge before deciding what support is useful.
Clear purpose
Every appeal should explain the need, intended use and people responsible.
Honest storytelling
Wildlife deserves wonder. Conservation also deserves accuracy, care and accountability.
